Setup

Infinity Pro is powered by the Genesis Framework. It won’t work if you don’t install the framework. Once you download Infinity Pro and the Genesis Framework zip files, head over to the WordPress theme installer tool and install the framework. Then, install the template. To start customizing your site, click the “customize” menu that appears when you hover the cursor of the mouse on the “Appearance” menu. This menu appears on the left sidebar of the WordPress dashboard.

Customization

Infinity Pro supports customization with the live customizer tool of WordPress. The changes you make with this tool will be displayed in real-time. Things you can do with the live customizer:

  • Create and manage the menu, change the accent color.
  • Upload a logo, set featured images on the home page.
  • Add widgets to the homepage, footer, etc

Features of the Infinity Pro theme:

Offscreen widget

Infinity Pro provides a special feature called the “offscreen” widget that will be displayed on a full-screen overlay interface when you click the three dots icon displayed on the navbar. If you’re running a membership website, you can use this feature to display the registration or login form. You can also use the offscreen widget utility to display an opt-in form.

Homepage

Infinity Pro theme’s homepage is divided into 7 sections aka widget areas. As you can see in its demo, four sections of the template have a background image, call-to-action buttons, and stylized text. The theme enables you to add featured images to the widget areas with the WordPress live customizer tool. It also lets users create custom CTA buttons that can either point to a page or a section on the homepage.

Infinity Pro’s homepage is one of the best-looking homepages in the WordPress universe. You can make your site look exactly the same with of course background pictures of your choice with just a few clicks of a button.

Team page

Want to make visitors to your site aware of the people working for your firm? The Infinity Pro theme ships with a Team page template which you can edit as per your requirements.

Lead capture page

You may have seen on various blogs a button that will unlock a link to download an e-book, gift card, etc. When you click this button, you’ll be asked to subscribe to the site’s newsletter to unlock the locked content. Infinity Pro offers this feature in the form of a Lead Capture Page.

Landing page

You can use this page of the Infinity Pro theme to display an opt-in form, welcome note, or a message to the visitors, etc. This page can have an image, bulleted list, a widget, etc. Landing pages are highly effective in boosting the conversion rate. Make sure that you use this feature.

Post

If you hire a developer to build a site for your digital marketing agency or business, you’ll have to pay the developer extra cash to set up a blog for you. This is because the developer will have to modify the Nginx or Apache configuration file or write code that will point a URL to your blog.

Infinity Pro, powered by the WordPress CMS and Genesis Framework prevents this headache because it is easy to launch a new blog with the Infinity Pro template. What’s interesting is that you can change the post layout to sidebar/content or content/sidebar. IP also supports the full-width layout.

SEO and speed

Although Infinity Pro is a stylish theme, it is search engine friendly. IP has valid HTML and CSS code. It has schema markup code for the following elements:

  • Navbar/header.
  • Content area.
  • Sidebar.

The size of the stylesheet file of the theme is just 36.2 kb. Also, Infinity Pro doesn’t have complex JS code. The theme is blazing fast. If the webserver is configured properly, it won’t take more than 2 seconds to open up in the browser of the desktop, tablet, or phone.

Store

This StudioPress child theme is WooCommerce friendly. Thus, once you install WooCommerce, you can sell anything on your website. WooCommerce lets users create products, set up discounts, manage orders, accept payments, etc. As this theme is mobile-friendly, your online store will look great on phones as well as tablets.

Who can use this template?

StudioPress may have designed Infinity Pro for digital marketing agencies, but I think its design is suitable for business, corporate sites as well.

Pricing, support

Infinity Pro is a premium StudioPress WordPress template that belongs to the Genesis Pro package. This package is priced at $360 per year. What will you get with the package? All premium WP themes & plugins StudioPress has introduced or will introduce in the future. Once you buy the package, you must log in to your StudioPress.com account to access the documentation. Also, you’ll enjoy unlimited updates and support for 1-year from the StudioPress team.

Cheaper options:

Divi: Priced at $89/year, the Divi theme lets you build unique and beautiful WP sites for creative and digital businesses with the help of Divi Builder, layout packs, etc.

Astra or GeneratePress: Astra Pro and GeneratePress Premium, priced at $59/year, are 2 other great themes you can use to build beautiful, SEO friendly, & fast loading business niche sites.

Should you buy the Pro Pack?

Yes, the Pro Pack will save 100s of dollars for you. Unlike developers that may charge you money for providing updates, you won’t have to pay a penny to receive theme updates from StudioPress for a year. Also, as the layout of the templates launched by StudioPress is WooCommerce friendly (very few themes are fully compatible with WooCommerce, this template is one of them), you can easily launch your online store with the Genesis themes.

Final thoughts

Infinity Pro is a great theme for digital and creative businesses. It supports WooCommerce. This theme doesn’t waste the precious time of agencies by making them design templates of their own. IP offers pre-designed templates that you can quickly customize and use on your live site.
